Information We Collect --> Sykes Systems requests information from a user when he/she places an order through the Site. To order, a user must provide his/her name, address, telephone number, shipping information (if different), and what is to appear on the favors ordered. This would include: birthday party, wedding, or other commemorative or promotional event, date, time, place or any other appropriate data. If the favor information is about another person, then the person placing the order is solely responsible for the disclosure of this information. Sykes Systems does not collect personally identifiable information from Site users who do not place an order unless they voluntarily contact us. We use a secure third-party shopping cart service to collect and process order information on our behalf. This service places "cookies" --small text files -- on your computer's hard drive, to track your progress through the ordering process, and to identify you when you return to place another order. The service has represented to us that it will not disclose customer information other than to deliver it to Sykes Systems, to protect its legitimate interests, or as legally required. You don't need to have your browser accept cookies to browse the Site, but if you disable the ?cookie? placement function of your browser, you won't be able to place an order. How We Use Information We Collect --> We use information we collect to process, bill for, and fulfill your order, including contacting you if needed in connection with an order, and to administer our business generally. We may also use this information to facilitate repeat orders, and to let you know of new products or special offers. Disclosing Information We Collect --> We or our secure shopping cart service on our behalf, where applicable, may only disclose personally identifiable information as follows: • Credit card and purchase information to credit card companies for billing and adjustment purposes. • Shipping information to carriers such as USPS and UPS for delivering and/or tracking orders. • As needed to our external shopping cart service to process orders and/or resolve possible communication problems. • Information appearing on favors as is inherent in processing and fulfilling orders. • As needed to our advisors, such as accountants, lawyers, etc. who are under an obligation of confidentiality to us. • As required by law, compelled by court or administrative action, or as reasonably necessary to protect our legitimate interests. • If we reasonably suspect that you are partaking in any illegal or potentially illegal activity, even without a subpoena, warrant, or other court order. • In the unlikely event to an acquirer of all or part of our assets. • In aggregated form, i.e., information about users collectively without identifying any individual user. • Due to circumstances beyond our control, despite the stringent precautions we take to protect your personal information (see below), there is unfortunately no such thing as a perfect security system, nor can we control the Internet in general.
